La Ciotat
La Ciotat is on the Coast at about 15 km East of Marseille. It used to be a town with important shipyard, however ship construction has almost stopped. There are new industries inland between the the city and the Hills. Now it develops with tourism and sailing.

The "bec de l'aigle" at "Le Mugel" is an amazing pudding rock that gives to La Ciotat its recognisable look. |
